FEATHERSTON
See the Fell Locomotive Museum. Inside is the only remaining Fell locomotive in the world. Manufactured in 1875.
GREYTOWN
Established in 1854 this quaint town was named after Governor George Grey. Take the opportunity to walk along the street and view it's large collection of Victorian architecture.
CARTERTON
Visit Paua World. See jewelery made from paua shell. The iridescent shell of our native abalone.
MASTERTON
Have a look at the Wool Shed. Experience Wairarapa sheep farming history. Watch sheep shearing in action. See how wool is spun into cozy garments.
We can take you to visit one of the worlds largest collections of original airworthy World War 1 planes. Guided tours are available on weekends. (November through to April)
MARTINBOROUGH
Visit some of the best vineyards in New Zealand. Many of these come with international reputations. Look for the villiages flagship wine, Pinot Noir.
Extend your wine experiences with local Riesling, Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc specialities.
